Good Vibrations

I'm lovin' this skirt man. Charlotte Russe's sales rack did me good!:D
I need some new black tights. blahh
I have to admit, I really do love that long dress, even if it does look terrible on my boobs. I'm determined to make it work!!!!
Oh and the last photo is just an old messed up pic that I edited and it turned out kinda cool so I posted it up here:D Haha Enjoy!!

Floral-y

So I went shopping last weekend and got me some new digs yo! Haha just kidding. I got this floral skirt, an awesome black leather clutch that only cost me 4 bucks, these tan heels, and my first and only strapless maxi dress. Usually strapless isn't my thing. I have big tits, remember? Strapless things and big jugs don't mix very well. But it looked so damn good on me haha so I bought it. I plan on putting some straps on it, maybe turn it into a halter, so it can hold my ta-tas up:D

P.S.
I didn't actually wear that as an outfit. And I would never leave my room with my hair looking like that. haha

Not my usual

Sorry. I look slightly retarded. Anyway, I had sworn to never ever ever wear leggings with just a shirt or something that didn't cover my butt fully. I went back on that sworn oath today. I find it to be quite disturbing to see someone's butt jiggling under the flimsy fabric. But I was lazy and I wanted a comfy quick outfit so I put this on. So sue me. My ass was jiggly today.

Herve Leger

I am simply obsessed with Herve Leger's spring 2009 collection. The dresses make your imperfections go away! Even on a less that perfect body, Herve Leger dresses look amazing. Since I don't know how to make a collage (yet), I put all the pics from his collection on a slideshow.. I hope it works. Enjoy!

Orientation

Jeez, where to begin. Today Nancy had her orientation at the Art Institute of California, Hollywood and I went with her. This is what I wore. And let me tell you, as comfy as my Steve Madden ankle boots are, they're not meant for trekking to and around the Metrolink station. My dress is an old long skirt my sister had handed down to me a while back. It looks horrendous all long and mermaid like, so I usually wear hike it up and wear it as a short dress. I mean, come one! The print is to die for floral. I've had my leopardprint leggings since I was 15 or something like that. I love them to death. I hope I never have to part with them. The black blazer with big, metal buttons, is also a hand me down from my sister. I should thank her someday for the wonderful clothes she bestowed upon me:D My gold locket and charm necklace is a cheap little knick-knack from Forever 21. My hair is twisted back on the left side and pulled into a twisted pony at the nape of my neck on the right side. I did this so the innocent people at the Art Institute would see it:P I have to admit, I really liked it there, and I don't even go there! Now I kinda wish I did. If only they offered my major:( I'm an art major, by the way, with an emphasis in painting and printmaking. I would much prefer to be a drawing major but, unfortunately, my school doesn't offer that emphasis:( Maybe someday I'll post some of my art. Till then enjoy this little description of our day in Hollywood.

I'm going to try and make this short and simple. This is how the day went:
Woke up at 5:30. Got ready and left at 7:10ish.
Got to Hollywood at 9:30. Just in time for orientation to start.
Sat through a bunch of boring orientation stuff.
Ate, more like scarfed down, lunch.
Sat through some more boring orientation stuff.
Ran around the building's 6th,7th, and 10th floors trying to fix Nancy's schedule, get her i.d. pic taken, get her fees paid, and get her enormous, gigantic, ridiculously heavy and expensive supply kit.
Left at around 5 oclock to catch the Metro off Normandie and Wilshire.
Got to Union Station.
Freaked our cuz we didn't know where we were going.
Got some help from a nice officer lady. Went on our way, and got even more confused.
Finally found the ticket booth for the metrolink, bought our tickets, feet killing us.
Lugged our heavy ass shit up to the stairs to the platform. Sat on some dirty slab of cement, exhausted.
Waited for our train that leaves at 6:30.
At around 6 a train with a sign that says Lancaster on it arrives and I asked if that was ours, since it was going to Lancaster, and Nancy says no, that's Amtrak. We need metrolink. And I believe.
We sit there in the freakin cold for 15 more minutes and then it hits me. Dude, that's our train!
We get on it and go home. Get off at Lancaster, it's HELLA cold out and my skirt's flying up. We can't find Mary so I call her and she finds us.
I run to the car and jump in the nice warm seat and let them two put the junk in the trunk:D hahahah That's my day!

TheTale of My Tat

My tattoo behind my left ear.

My monroe. Not a tat, but I love it:D

Mary, Nancy and I had made plans awhile back to all get tattoos together over winter break. We had agreed on getting tattoos in matching places because we each had a different idea of what we wanted. So that was settled. Until winter break actually came. Apparently no one saved up any money besides me... so I wasn't going to do the tattoo anymore because it was supposed to be a special thing between me and my two best friends. Luck was on our side though when Mary got her paycheck and therefore had the funds to pull through with the plan. Nancy, on the other hand, still didn't have the money so Mary and I said we'd split the cost of her tattoo so she could still get it with us. Lady luck struck again though when a lady paid Nancy to watch her birds for a week. So now we all could afford our special tats. So last week we looked up a few tattoo shops in the AV and were planning on going down to get them done sometime this week. Well, over the weekend, Nancy visited the swap meet, found some items she just could NOT pass up, and spent all her tattoo money:( So I'm super Bummed by now. This was so special to me. I really do keep to my word when I say I'm going to do something and I usually expect everyone else to keep to theirs too. I was super stoked for this tattoo, you know. So Nancy breaks the news to me but says me and Mary can still get ours if we wanted. Well I wanted. I wanted BAD. I said when she gets the money again we'll both go with her to get it. That way it's still like we did it together. The three of us. BFFs yo. Anyway, Mary and I got ours done today. We go on over to Nancy's afterward and show her. She doesn't seem to excited. I kinda just wanted her to say they looked good or cool or something. But nothing. I don't know. Is it ugly? Is she mad at me for getting it done without her? She told me that she didn't even want it behind her ear anymore(that's where we planned on getting all of our tats). It kinda makes me upset that she said that. On top of that her little sister says that its ugly to get it behind the ear. To be honest, it really hurt when they said that. This actually meant a lot more to me than just getting tattoos. It was like a marker of our friendship, which I cherish with my heart. And all Nancy was going to get was a small music note. Which, in fact, is quite cute. I've seen a few pics of people with music notes tatted behind their ear and it's freakin' cute. Not to mention that she has a new hair cut that would totally flaunt it. It just seemed like the ideal situation. I'm sorry for the long rant. I'm just....bummed I guess.

Obsessions

Lately I've been obsessed with these shoes. I really want a pair of crazy heels like these, but sadly, I can't afford not one single pair:(

My second obsession: Sequins. I'll admit, I'm addicted to anything flashy and glitzy, but now that there's so much more, I just can't help myself!

I tried to curl it...

I was pleased with my hair.... for one day. Now I don't really like it at all because it looks horrid unless it's straightened. I didn't want a cut that I would be forced to straighten everyday because I've become increasingly lazy with my hair since I started college. There just isn't time to make it look all cute anymore. And since I can't leave my hair in it's natural texture, I thought I'd try curling it. It kind of worked if you look at the webcam pics (which by the way, I'm sorry are so shitty) but I believe the webcam actually makes my hair look better than it actually is. I tried to take a picture with my actual camera and the only one that came out is this one. I'm seriously considering cutting my own hair to make it work better with my natural texture. Oh yah, my bangs are hopeless, but usually those are the least of my worries. If need be I'll just cut them really short to match the right side and move on. They usually grow faster than the rest of my hair anyway. Haha sorry for the rant. It's just been bugging me.

Post Secret

Visit the Widget Gallery

The only good thing that came from my room mate was introducing me to post secret. It truly is amazing some of the things people hide from everyone else, and even themselves. My R.A. set up our own little post secret wall in our hall and we each took a square of paper and anonymously wrote a secret we wanted to get off our chests. It's so interesting to read them all and try and figure out whose is whose. The thing is, you can never pinpoint exactly which one belongs to anyone. And that's why I think post secret works so well. Each secret could belong to a multitude of people, which in effect, remains a secret, even though its out in the open now. Oh the wonders of anonymity. Go write to post secret. Relieve some stress or just go read some of other people's secrets.

New Hair and Fuschia Lips

So today Mary, Nancy, her sister Daisy and I took a trip to the salon. Nancy and I got our hair cut. We went in there knowing for sure what she was going to get and not knowing at all how I would cut mine. Mine was completely random and to be honest, I didn't even care what the lady did with my hair. I just wanted all the dead stuff cut off and my bangs back. I gave her full reins of my hair. If it turned out ugly I could fix it myself. I'm quite handy with scissors. Anyway she put my hair into a bunch of ponytails and like cut it in the ponytails. It was so cool. Haha. She layered it that way and then she textured my whole head including my bangs. I love texture:D She textured the right side of my bangs really thin and there were a few longer strands of hair there so when I got home I just got cut them off and I like how the right side is shorter now. I dig the asymmetrical look. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my new hair. Who new going in the salon today I'd come out with short hair again haha:D Nancy's was more planned out and she knew exactly what she wanted. She did a drastic change and chopped off ALL her long hair and got a pixie. She has pics of it on her blog at: www.thoughtsthoughtskoo.blogspot.com
