I really like lemon pudding. In a cup, not the one that you have to make yourself. Yum :D

Frustration
There are only a few things that I let really get to me. I try to not be too critical of myself at times, because we all know we are our own worst critics, but I absolutely cannot stand when I put so much sweat, blood, and tears into something only to have SOMEONE ELSE come in and grade it harshly or say that it's not ENOUGH. And yes I am talking mainly in school right now. Sure, life isn't all fine and dandy and there are assholes out there who like to put people's hard work down, but I don't stand for that injustice. Art is very subjective. It comes off different to everyone. But art in schools, especially in contemporary times, can only be graded in terms of personal effort and work with the media. And nothing hurts more than seeing a piece that someone else did that you helped formulate the final idea and composition for get an outstanding mark when your own piece seems to fall short for "some unknown reason." I feel like all my efforts were in complete and total vain. What's even the point of trying?

The Most Awesome Haircut Yet
I've always been one to just randomly cut my hair in some crazy fashion. This time I took some inspiration from Maja Ivarrson from The Sounds. She had part of her shaved off and the rest was long. So here's my rendition. I did what I could at supercuts ok! haha I actually quite like it. A LOT!

Elphaba
Before people just go assuming I'm some measly witch, think again! AHA! I was Elphaba from Wicked for Halloween! :D She's one of my favorite characters so I couldn't help recreating her for that once a year holiday. That wasn't my only costume though. On Friday I was self proclaimed "Hot Mess" Barbie. Check it out:
I did my friend up as "Scene" Barbie:
Another one of my friends was King Tut. Here's a pic of all three of us. The full length one is kind of a bad picture but it's the only one I have so I just have to deal :/
One last photo of my friend's second costume: Zombie with a severed head. I loved this thing. It was fantastic.
WAIT!!! I lied!!! I have one more picture: "The Aftermath" Wigs get itchy, you and your friends are drunk. Switch things up a bit. Yay!

Embracing Ugliness
It's been a while, a long while, since I last posted anything on my blog. Life's been hard but I'm not gonna get into that. In the months between March and July I finished my first year of college, moved all my crap from my dorm back to my little house in Cal City and then come back to San Diego to take summer classes with lots of stuff in between. Now all that's over and I need to find a job BAD. I haven't taken any pictures of outfits because, well quite frankly, I haven't worn anything worth taking a picture of. Well I might have but was too lazy to do so. And what I've realized is that in the summer I don't dress up nearly as much because it's so damn hot. Even though summer is my all time favorite season I've come to realize that I much prefer winter or any other colder weather soley for the fact that I can layer and wear much more clothing then. I'm the kind of person who likes to cover my body because it's not so pretty uncovered, so when summer comes around and I'm walking around flaunting off my not-so goodies in crappy old jeans with holes the side of small children in them I tend to get un-encouraged to do a fashion blog. Not to mention I brought the bare minimum back with me to my brother's (where I'm now staying til I can get a job and save enough money to get an apartment with my bestie. wish me luck!). But because I haven't posted anything in a while doesn't mean I haven't been keeping up with other lovely fashionable blogs, as well as some non-fashion blogs that I love. Today I stumbled upon a website called www.hel-looks.com and I've seriously been looking through all the pictures of, I THINK, Swedish street style. And I've got to admit, I'm really liking their strong love of everything ugly. These everyday people are so passionate about what they're wearing, no matter how ugly any average person would think it was, that it somehow becomes beautiful. I'm really enjoying it and they're so inspired! I just love it! I wish American people were so open minded and passionate about embracing ugliness like these people are. Gosh we're so stuffy! They make me want to go there. Get away from drab ol' American antics.
This is one of my favorite street style outfits that I've looked at so far. I probably like it because 1.) it has leopard print and 2.) it's something I'd probably wear.
You see why I'd prefer winter right now? Look at how much more versatile clothes are when it's colder out:D
Another thing I really like about this site is that it isn't exclusive to stick thin model-esuqe looking people. There's some fat chicks in there! Hells yes!! And they ROCK their personal style. I can't get enough of it.
Anyway, I apologize for the hiatus and as soon as my life settles itself out I promise I'll update more often. In the meantime go check out wwww.hel-looks.com. Ravage that shit!!

I have to admit, I really do love that long dress, even if it does look terrible on my boobs. I'm determined to make it work!!!!
Oh and the last photo is just an old messed up pic that I edited and it turned out kinda cool so I posted it up here:D Haha Enjoy!!

Floral-y
So I went shopping last weekend and got me some new digs yo! Haha just kidding. I got this floral skirt, an awesome black leather clutch that only cost me 4 bucks, these tan heels, and my first and only strapless maxi dress. Usually strapless isn't my thing. I have big tits, remember? Strapless things and big jugs don't mix very well. But it looked so damn good on me haha so I bought it. I plan on putting some straps on it, maybe turn it into a halter, so it can hold my ta-tas up:D
P.S.
I didn't actually wear that as an outfit. And I would never leave my room with my hair looking like that. haha

Not my usual
Sorry. I look slightly retarded. Anyway, I had sworn to never ever ever wear leggings with just a shirt or something that didn't cover my butt fully. I went back on that sworn oath today. I find it to be quite disturbing to see someone's butt jiggling under the flimsy fabric. But I was lazy and I wanted a comfy quick outfit so I put this on. So sue me. My ass was jiggly today.

Herve Leger
I am simply obsessed with Herve Leger's spring 2009 collection. The dresses make your imperfections go away! Even on a less that perfect body, Herve Leger dresses look amazing. Since I don't know how to make a collage (yet), I put all the pics from his collection on a slideshow.. I hope it works. Enjoy!
